About us: Professional and knowledgeable, we are dedicated to managing the many details of this recognizably very large-scale project. Brett was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and has over 12 years of real estate experience in property management, commercial leasing, investment banking, and construction lending. During his career, he has worked for a local commercial real estate developer as well as financial institutions including McDonald & Company, Fifth Third Bank and National City Bank. He is currently a partner and President of Ironwood Development Company, a small real estate development company located in Fairview Park, Ohio. Brett is on the board of Ruffing Montessori School. Mr. Davis is an avid cyclist and among other things enjoys competing in long distance mountain bike races. Brett is married with two children and resides in University Heights, Ohio. Rick Adams, Vice President Rick was born, raised and attended school in Ohio. After living in three different parts of the country, he moved to Cleveland in the 90's. Rick has worked as a sales professional since graduation from Bowling Green State University. Rick has worked part time and full time in the bicycle industry and rides recreationally and races mountain, road and cyclocross. He is one of the founders of Fast Track Cycling and has ridden at the ADT and Bloomer Park velodromes. He currently resides in Tampa, FL and has a son in the Cleveland area. Tom Hlavaty, Treasurer, Co-Chair Board Governance/Leadership Committee Tom is a lifelong Cleveland area resident and is owner of Hlavaty & Associates Inc CPA in Fairview Park specializing in small and start up business consulting and tax. Tom is currently on the board of the Cleveland Area Restaurant Association, and is the Board Secretary for Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential (LEAP) an organization headquartered on West 25th Street in Cleveland serving people of any age with any disability. Tom is also on various advisory boards for privately held businesses. He lives in Olmsted Township and can be found after tax season cycling in the Metro Parks. Gary Burkholder, Secretary Gary grew up in Northwest Ohio and relocated to the Cleveland area John Bodell; Trustee; John has been involved with bicycles since being bitten by the bug as a young teenager growing up in Michigan. Thirty-five years later, John still relishes recreational riding with his family and competitive racing with his peers. During the late 70's, John raced Madison style events on the velodromes in both Detroit and Ontario. Currently, he is responsible for Business Development here in Ohio with RR Donnelley & Sons Company in a work career that exceeds 25 years. After living all over the United States and Europe - John and his wife and three sons have enjoyed putting down roots in Rocky River for the last 10 years. Connie Carr; Trustee; Connie was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and for the past 11 years has been practicing corporate, finance, securities and commercial real estate law in the Cleveland area with the law firm of Kohrman Jackson & Krantz. Connie is a former board member and chairman of the Lorain Port Authority board of directors and was actively involved in public development projects. She currently chairs the board of directors of Lakeshore Community Credit Union in Avon Lake, Ohio, and is co-chair of the Real Estate Section of the Lorain County Bar Association. Connie is an active road cyclist and lives in Lorain County, Ohio. Anna Gerrodette; Trustee; Peter Guttierez; Trustee; Greg Huth, Co-Chair Site Selection/Acquisition Committee John Lind; Trustee; Matt Litzler, Chair – Fundraising/Sponsorship Committee Matt is a lifelong Cleveland area resident and is President and owner of C. A. Litzler Co., Inc ., a manufacturer of custom machinery and ovens with customers around the world. Matt has been active in the company since 1992 and held other sales positions with Sherwin Williams Paint prior to joining C. A. Litzler Co., Inc. Matt is active on other community boards including the YMCA and WSEM (West Side Ecumenical Ministries) as well as active involvement in YPO (Young Presidents Organization) Matt has been an active cyclist since 1986 including all forms of racing and has visited Velodromes in the US, China, Japan, and Europe. Matt is married with three children and lives in Avon Lake, OH Bob Rodgers, Chair – Facilities/Operations Committee Robert (Bob) is a lifelong Northeast Ohio resident and currently serves as Weatherchem Corporation’s Manager of Manufacturing Engineering. He has held this position for nearly 2 years. In this position he has responsibility for the facility proper (building and grounds), capital resources within the facility, and technical resources for the support of the manufacturing operation. Previously Robert spent 12 years at Delphi Automotive Systems were most of his career was spent in the implementation of custom manufacturing systems in the US, Mexico, Korea, China, Brazil, and Hungary. Robert graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Robert is an avid cyclist that enjoys all disciplines of cycling, and competes locally and regionally in road and mountain bike races.
